I went to school in Heolddu Comprehensive, Bargoed and trained at St. George’s Hospital London qualifying in 1992 (along with Harry Hill!) I have been GP trainer for Bridgend GP scheme since 2002 and Educational Supervisor for hospital doctors since 2007.
My main special area of interest is Sports & Exercise Medicine having completed a five year Masters Degree in 2009 at Bath University. I am currently club medical officer to Ospreys Rugby having previously been with Treorchy, Bridgend, Celtic Warriors and Welsh Students. I also provide cover for Wales Under 18 & 20s.
Outside the practice I enjoy my involvement in rugby as well as keeping fit and recently taken up sea kayaking. Most of all I value my time with my family, especially with my wife and two young sons, who make me laugh every day.
