Mrs Sarah Bush
We're delighted to announce that Sarah has joined us as a permanent full time GP Pharmacist. Sarah has particular expertise in the initiation and monitoring of anticoagulants and will be an invaluable medicines expert who will be available to support and advise our Doctors about all aspects of medicines management. As well as monitoring our patients' repeat prescriptions, Sarah will be holding both face to face and telephone medication reviews. Having Sarah on board as a highly qualified medicines expert means that our Doctors can free up a little extra time to focus on seeing patients who need to see a GP

Claire also works with GP surgeries in our regional cluster and conducts repeat prescription reviews with patients on the phone and does a lot of "behind the scenes" work to maintain high quality and cost efficient prescribing. New drugs are being released all the time and our knowledge about existing medicines is evolving as more information from clinical trials comes to light. Claire has an essential role in helping to keep our Doctors up to date with the latest developments and most up to date treatments.
Claire is a key link between the practice, hospital Pharmacists, the local Chemists and the Medicines Management team from our Local Health Board.
